Our Magical Day!

Following our wedding in Cyprus in March I would like to thank Phillipa at Aphrodite Weddings for making our day so special. From our planning days 1 year ago, Phillipa has provided us with much reassurance and ensured everything we asked for was available. On arrival she was available and willing to help. I had full confidence that everything would be perfect.

My husband and I arrived at Kefalos in our Horse and Carriage and were greeted by our friends and family.

On our wedding day Phillipa called me to see how i was feeling and reassure me that she would be with me at 11 o'clock, sure enough true to her word she arrived at my door with my beautiful bouquet. She was at hand for anything i needed. She coordinated everything from start to finish.

We had our reception at Kefalos Beach Resort which was a beautiful setting and everything we had planned and asked for was just perfect.

I would recommend this experience to everyone, and would love to do it all again. We had the best day of our lives- a fantastic start to married life. Thank you!!

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to Wendy who was so helpful throughout our day - even fetching confetti at the last minute when I suddenly realised we had forgotten! Nothing was to much trouble.

We also want to say a huge thank you to Jenny who calmed our nerves before we got to Cyprus and sorted everything out brilliantly.

And finally a massive thank you to all of the staff at the Capo Bay hotel - this hotel is very much recomended! We were made welcome from the very first second, and everyone was interested in you and your day - and making it perfect. Katerina was a star! The food was amazing and she even found time to join in with the dancing! If you want an absolutely unforgetable day in the sun, surrounded by those you love - this is the way to do it.

I would just like to thank each and everyone of u at Aphrodite Wedding Services for everything you did for us on our special day. Nothing was too much trouble and Wendy was amazing!! I look back on our day with a huge smile, it was completely stress free thanks to Aphrodite!

Chris the photographer did an excellent job, the photos are stunning and I can't stop looking at them.the DVD is also just amazing. We had a few niggles with the Hotel but Jenny and Wendy were right on the case and sorted things out for us!!!

So to anyone who wants a stress free wedding in beautiful surroundings and to be looked after by the friendliest people, I highly recommend Aphrodite Wedding Services, they will not disappoint!!!

Hope you are all well and busy as always. It's been two weeks since we got home and were determined not to come out of our Cyprus wedding bubble, despite stress at work etc. When we were there, we were really grateful for all your support and can't praise you enough to all of our friends. We had the best wedding we could have dreamed of and our guests just thought the whole settings were lovely, though I think they are still pleased not to have climbed the steps to Profitas Elias church!

It's when we got home and reflected on just how nice our time in Cyprus was, that we realised, just how special you all helped make our day. I think you are a true example of a great business that cares about people before profits and that is something quite rare theses days. Your kindness with the decorations (just perfect) was so generous and when you arranged for the limousine, my kids were really pleased to tell their mates that they had travelled in style to the reception. The driver was lovely too.

Can we thank Sally for her calmness on the day and for finding the 'affidavit' just in time - ha ha!! She is new to the team, yet very knowledgeable about your services. She was really courteous and discreet when we kept blubbering before the wedding!!! Our pics are just lovely, and our first minor debate as husband and wife has been about choosing which ones to enlarge, put on canvas etc. Chris was fab on the day and really sensitive about my reasons for the church climb, he'd clearly climbed many times as he was first there and the only one not out of breath.

Last but definitely not least is the lovely Tony and Androulla who made exquisite food and were very organised . They just left us to enjoy our evening and we never felt rushed to leave. We went back on our last night and we both blubbered again...what are we like????

I thought I would bore everyone to death when I got back, but it seems not as one of my colleagues at work has asked for all your details. Her daughter is getting married next year and I've passed them on to her.

We wish you well for a busy summer and a continued successful business. Thank you very very much for your kindness, thoughtfulness, generosity and for just being fabulous. xxxx

I just wanted to email you to thank you again for all your help in arranging our wedding. Everyone I dealt with via email before arriving in Cyprus was fantastic. I always received prompt and helpful replies and you and Gaye were both absolutely fantastic in the build up and on the actual day.

The wedding went fantastic and it really did exceed all our expectations. I am so glad your company was recommended to me as it has been a fantastic experience from beginning to end. All the stress of the wedding was taken away from us and everything was arranged exactly as we had requested. I really cannot thank you enough for all you did for us. The ceremony, flowers, reception, photos - absolutely everything was perfect!

Hopefully, I won't personally be needing your services again (fingers crossed haha) but I will definitely be recommending you to any friends or family that decide to get married in Cyprus.

Wayne and I would like to thank our wedding planner Sally for all her help before, during and after our wedding day.

Sally made us feel at ease the moment we met her and by the time we left we felt we had known her for years! Without Sally I would have been one stressed bride on my wedding day! She even went beyond the call of duty and replied to my crisis text that was sent at midnight (thanks Sally).

The photo's are wonderful, Chris was great, and our DVD was the icing on the cake. Thanks Jill we are all still crying when we watch it!!

I would like to send a BIG BIG thank you to you all especially Wendy for giving us such an amazing time on our special day. We felt at ease and had no stress at all (even though I stress a lot over anything).

The big day was unreal, everything went smoothly. Wendy, you really did go over and above our expectations!

All the guests loved the day to and had not one complaint (and there was a good few moaners with us haha). Us and the guests watched a number of weddings before ours and, my God, they do not come close to our day, that’s all down to you lot.

Sorry it's took so long to thank you so much for all your help whilst we were in Cyprus. I have already recommended you to two other couples who are interested. Thank you so much for the sympathy card, it meant a lot.

Apart from that happening, we had a great time in Cyprus. So much so, that we have booked to come over for our anniversary next year. Many of the same group plus Jason's dad are coming too. Really can't wait, wasn't quite the honeymoon I'd been looking forward to as Jason flew home the day after the wedding! So will be good to make up for it, and another excuse to eat at Anemos!

I would like to first of all thank Jenny for all her help and support from beginning to end, Jenny is one amazing lady. Blue Palm Sunset is truely above expectations of any bride to be. The staff here are amazing, an excellent service with the most amazing views and a dream setting. We searched and searched for the venue of our dreams and this was just a dream come true.

So thank you Jenny and all the staff, we dont know what we would have done without you. If your a bride to be searching for your dream wedding then you do not need to look any further. Blue Palm Sunset is even better than it looks (if that is possible).

Would recommend the photographer, and my cake was to die for. Jenny organised my whole wedding and I dont know what I would have done without her. Jenny looked after us and all our guests and could not have done anything more. This was a great place for children, very safe and plenty of space for them to play.

It's been a hectic first month of marriage, so I apologise for the length of time it has taken me to write to you. Upon getting back from Cyprus we immediately relocated to South Wales so it has been quite busy settling in and trying to find jobs.

I just wanted to write to you and let you know what an amazing day we had all thanks to you and everyone at Aphrodite. From the moment of first contact over a year ago and all the preparation that went in beforehand, to Wendy's care and attention from the moment we got to Cyprus, it really couldn't have gone any better. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Aphrodite to anyone I know thinking of getting married in Cyprus. Saying that...my brother and his girlfriend were so impressed by everything they are now considering getting married abroad as well - so I'll let you know if they consider Cyprus!

I look back now and it all seems a bit of a blur and I think that is mostly down to how smoothly everything went. Thank goodness I have the beautiful pictures to refresh my memory. Everyone that has seen the photos has commented on how happy we looked and why wouldn't we be - we were in beautiful Cyprus celebrating our marriage without a care in the world - all thanks to Aphrodite Weddings.

Thank you for all your help in arranging our wedding at the Nissi Beach Hotel. Sally was fantastic, and it was a nice surprise that Wendy was able to attend after meeting us last year. All the staff made us feel special, and couldn't do more for us.

Sally made sure everything ran smoothly on the day, making it a stress free wedding. Chris, the photographer was brilliant, as was our DJ, Lee. We couldn't recommend Aphrodite more. All our guests said what a perfect wedding it was, in a beautiful setting.

Our wedding on the 15th of July was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for anything more, the support and help we received from all the staff at Aphrodite has been amazing and appreciated. The help we received from Wendy leading up to the wedding was outstanding, and above and beyond anything we could have imagined even with non wedding related issues like the injury to my hand, and on the day of the wedding when Wendy and Sally came to the rescue to steam my dress, and the ladies were so calm and chilled out it really helped me and everyone relax and knowing that they were there really put my mind at rest that everything would be perfect.

The wedding itself went according to plan again thanks to Wendy keeping everyone in order; the decoration was amazing and could not believe how amazing the candy buffet looked. I was so pleased and impressed with the flowers as they are exactly what I wanted.

Capo Bay itself was incredible; everyone loved the location and made a perfect back drop to the wedding. Its funny looking back now and worrying about the Guru bar when in fact the sofas, bean bags and beds came in useful and as soon as the meal was over everyone went and sat on them instead of there tables. The service from staff was first class, and the meal was amazing.

The Husband and I, hate having our photograph taken and before the wedding pictures there is no pictures of us both together, the photographer was fantastic and I didn’t notice him taking pictures during the service and they turned out so well and we bought the disc in the end as so many people wanted extra prints.

I really can’t express how thankful I am to all of you, in helping to create my perfect wedding everything from location to my flowers were more than I could ever possibly imagine.

The Golden Coast Hotel was a beautiful venue to get married in and our favourite pictures are the ones we took there. The food and hospitality at the Blue Palm was the best it could have ever been and we've been constantly recommending the venues to our friends and family since we got back! Your wedding should be the most memorable and perfect day of your life and ours definitely was both of those things!

Chris and I have now returned to sunny England (yeah right it's rained all day so far!!!) we just wanted to send you an email to say thank you for everything you all did for us. Maria at the Golden Coast was amazing too, and the hotel really made us feel welcome and special. We would also like to say thank you for the 75 euros with regard to the wedding cake it was a really nice gesture.

We have no hesitation in recommending you and the Golden Coast in the future; we really did have a great wedding so thanks again to all of you for the hard work and making it really easy for Chris and I to just enjoy.

I just wanted to write a formal note to express my huge praise and admiration for you and Aphrodite as a company.

I know other brides to be may read this so I hope this goes some way in showing how special and amazing a wedding abroad can be when you have a dedicated team of professional and committed people such as you.

From the first email I knew that this was a company I could trust, your quick response to my hundreds of emails during the 15 months leading up to the wedding was first class. The phone calls also calmed my nerves and anxiety.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel your work began, the champagne and card was a lovely welcome and I was eager to finally meet the people I’d been hounding for months!

The Golden Coast was a perfect place to get married, however Blue Palm Sunset for our reception exceeded our expectations and words just don’t do the venue justice. The staff at Blue Palm (Shaun and Claire) were fantastic, the food was amazing and Jenny you were like a fairy godmother looking after kids in pushchairs during the speeches, doing trips to the shops for our guests and just generally going above and beyond the call of duty.

It was so nice of you to visit us before we went home and even our twins were asking on the plane if they would see you again, this just goes to show you didn’t just make Tony and I feel special but our children, family and guests.

The pictures and DVD are fantastic and I would highly recommend you to anyone getting married in Cyprus.

Thank you so much for making our wedding so perfect and amazing. Whenever we think of our wedding day we think of Aphrodite Weddings, especially Jenny who made our day completely amazing.

I was such a nervous wreck as many brides are, wanting the day to go perfectly, and throughout the wedding planning in the UK to Cyprus, Jenny and her team made sure that I had nothing to worry about, our day couldn't of gone so perfect.

Most companies these days only want your money, but Aphrodite Weddings went above and beyond all expectations and restored our faith that there are people who genuinely care.

I cannot praise Aphrodite Wedding's service enough. I feel like crying when I think how completely and utterly perfect our day was, from hair and makeup, to photography and our DVD (everyone cries who watches our DVD). Our guests are constantly telling everyone not only how perfect the day was but also how fantastic Jenny our wedding planner.

We would also recommend Blue Palm - truly takes your breath away, utterly perfect setting, especially the fantastic sunset!

Our day was spectacular!

We booked a package and then added to it. The team at Aphrodite Weddings were cool, calm and professional. Makeup, Hairdresser, flowers – I decided what I wanted and Wendy would make a quick phone call and it was arranged. No stress.

I think what I was also amazed at was the quality of everything. Our wedding cake was a single tier sponge – but what a cake – delicious, and contained fresh strawberries and cream. My flowers were exactly what I wanted and lasted a full week after the event. The Photographer, Chris, not only took good (outstanding) photographs, but he was also pleasant and that contributed to the day. He managed to get the proofs to us that very night! The DVD man, Steve, - what a fantastic job he did! We really felt like film stars.

We had a vintage car to take us to the Folkloric and a horse drawn carriage to take us back. In the evening we went to Folios, in Kapparis, for an outstanding meal. Our wedding consisted of 9 in total and the Folkloric Museum was perfect. I have seen the other venues and they are all lovely. The new Blue Palm Sunset is better in real life than in the photographs – truly stunning!

Jenny and her team were fabulous! What lovely people! There are plenty of other Wedding Planners in Cyprus, and I am sure they are good, but Aphrodite Weddings goes the extra mile to make your day the fairytale you always wanted.

I just wanted to say how grateful we are to you. I was so pleased when we met you were so easy to talk to etc. You were there to answer all our questions any time of the day and put us at ease (especially when the storm clouds loomed and the rain was falling!). We had an absolutely amazing day at the Capo Bay - it truly was special and it couldn't have been done without you and the gang.

The Red Bus trips were amazing by the way.

Please pass on my thank you's to the decoration people too, they did an exquisite job and we were really pleased with the look they created for us. Everyone commented on it too. Also I loved my hair and make up - I wish I could re-create the look, your ladies did a fabulous job!

I miss Cyprus and the whole experience dearly and wish I could do it all again. Not just because of the wedding but all the fabulous people we met, like yourself!

Chris and Kim here, just a quick note from us to say huge and sincere thanks to you for making our wedding day on 20/10/10 (and in fact our whole stay) so wonderful and stress free. Everything from the flowers to the yummy cake and the photographer were amazing and we felt so special on our big day.

All of our guests were so impressed with the level of planning and organisation and the whole day ran so smoothly. Everyone loved the wedding ceremony area and the fantastic Guru Pavilion - it was the most stunning backdrop to our wedding and we feel so fortunate that we were able to have our reception there.

Even though the sun didn’t shine on the wedding day (the only cloudy day out of the 11 we were there ha ha!!) it didn’t matter because everything else was perfect and the weather was the only thing that was out of our control.

We got exactly what we wanted; a stress free, relaxed, fun-filled wedding day where everyone enjoyed themselves and felt comfortable. The smiles on all the wedding photos are the best testament to this and we certainly will remember it forever.

So again, thanks for all your help and advice over the last few months - particularly Jenny, Wendy and Tracy - and we wish you all the best for the future. Enjoy your time off over the winter!
